Titanium Carbide is a gray-black powder, with cubic crystal structure, high melting point and high hardness low friction characteristics and has metallic properties, good heat transfer properties and electrical conductivity. Application

1. TiC is widely used in manufacturing wear-resistant materials; cutting tool materials, mold manufacturing, production of metal smelting crucible. Transparent titanium carbide ceramic is a good optical material.

2. Titanium carbide as a coating in the surface of mental alloy tool surface, can greatly improve the performance of the tool and extension its use life.

3. TiC used in the abrasives and abrasive industry is an ideal material to replace the traditional abrasive materials like alumina, silicon carbide, boron carbide, chromium oxide and so on.
