Lutetium Oxide, also called Lutecia, is the important raw materials for laser crystals, and also have specialized uses in ceramics, glass, phosphors, lasers. Lutetium Oxide also be used as catalysts in cracking, alkylation, hydrogenation, and polymerization. Stable Lutetium can be used as catalysts in petroleum cracking in refineries and can also be used in alkylation, hydrogenation, and polymerization applications. It can also be used as an ideal host for X-ray phosphors. Lutetium Oxide also be used in ndfeb permanent magnet materials, chemical additives, electronic industry ,L.E.D Powder and scientific research, etc.Lutetium Oxide mainly used for special alloys, fluorescent powder activators, catalysts, magnetic bubble storage devices, and medical devices, etc.
